| Why so dark? | By Nature’s preservative-free apricot halves are dried without the use of sulphur dioxide and/or any other sulphites. The natural oxidation process that occurs when drying sulphur-free dried fruits, gives you a slightly darker colour and a sweeter flavour. |

| Why so dry? | When drying fruit without preservatives, the natural sugar in the fruit helps to prevent the growth of bacteria, moulds and yeast. When drying fruit that is naturally low in sugar, like apricots, a longer drying time is required to achieve the same result. |
