This is a medium roast that is very easy and smooth to drink.
All our beans are Fairtrade & Organic and have been carefully selected from Ethiopia and Brazil for this specific blend.
The Ethiopian Sidamo bean is well rounded, smooth and mild with a fruit-like aromatic taste. Our Brazilian Santos bean has a low acidity with a nutty taste for a smooth everyday drinking coffee.
Wow, where to start with this guy. Bertie is one of our much-loved locals, if you don’t know him as a pastor at the Baptist Church then you may know him as our local surf instructor – that is when he is not roasting the coffee you should be enjoying!
Like all the true Melkbosstranders we are so blessed to surround ourselves with; Bertie takes being a member of the community seriously and loves nothing more than to form new relationships with his fellow Villagers.
Believing in paying “it” forward he spends a lot of his time up-skilling our local teens with Barista techniques, surf and general life skills.
His coffee is a true representation of everything that he believes in – hand-roasted custom blends that are a throwback to a moment in time where we are allowed to enjoy the simple things in life shamelessly; friends, family, adventure and coffee. Coffee brewed right, enjoyed slowly, and done often.
