Our half shell mussels are sustainably farmed on ropes. They are grown in fresh, clean, cold and nutrient-rich water that’s perfect for growing incredible mussels. Once they are big enough the mussels are harvested before being flash frozen and processed, perfectly locking in the flavour, moisture and nutrients.
Taste:
Due to the perfect growing conditions, these mussels are plump, juicy and have a slightly sweet taste.
SASSI:
Best cooked from frozen.
- Remove mussels from packaging
- decant mussels into a pot that is on a medium heat
- Close the lid and allow to Steam for 6-7 minutes
- stir every few minutes until mussels are cooked.
